ÂÜÀòÉäÇø’s Strategic Plan includes one of four themes centered on meaningful enactment of Truth & Reconciliation. Inspire & Ignite Investment Fund has generously sponsored this workshop in which we will begin the internal work of examining our own privilege and positionality, unsettling that privilege and learning about allyship to assist us in moving forward individually and collectively to do the work of decolonizing and Indigenizing the academy as well as our own mindsets.
The workshop includes a facilitated activity called Privilege Beads Exercise, an Allyship presentation, grounding and mindfulness practice, quiet reflection time as well as group discussion time. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This workshop is open to all ÂÜÀòÉäÇø Leadership, Faculty, Staff, and Students. All are welcome!
