This is your weekly digest of system maintenance/information and downtime. All notices are also posted on the myÂÜÀòÉäÇø Student Portal (Ellucian Experience) under resources, gounbc.sharepoint.com for Employees, support.unbc.ca and on unbc.ca /its. Please see one of these locations for maintenance notices.
Network Maintenance/upgrade: Thursday April 24th || Time: 8:00pm to 9:00pm
- No outage expected but if you do get disconnected please log back in.
Linux Updates: Thursday April 24th || Time: 10:00pm to 1:00am

M365 Licensing Changes: Thursday April 24th || Time: 10:15am
As communicated last week, ITS will be pushing out an upgrade to M365 security.
With these security feature upgrades, additional applications and features will available to employees.
- Power BI Pro (faculty/staff only)
- MyAnalytics (faculty/staff only)
For training or more information, ÂÜÀòÉäÇø employees have access to LinkedIn Learning, an online professional development portal. To start, click on the link below and use your ÂÜÀòÉäÇø username (in the format username@unbc.ca).
VPN2 Upgrade: Monday April 28th || Time: 5:00pm
- If you are connected to the VPN at this time it will appear to have disconnected or failed for up to 2 minutes then reconnect on its own.
