蹤獲扞⑹ Welcomes Advanced Education Minister
Advanced Education, Skills and Training Minister Hon. Melanie Mark made her first visit to the University of Northern British Columbia on Tuesday.
Mark, who has family ties to Northern British Columbia, toured the Prince George campus with 蹤獲扞⑹ President Dr. Daniel Weeks. She also met with faculty, student and staff representatives.
"It was very moving to visit 蹤獲扞⑹ and hear about the work that communities are doing to come together in response to wildfires including evacuee support," said Minister Mark. "The innovation, research and learning opportunities available at 蹤獲扞⑹ will help students as they journey to their full potential."
The visit to 蹤獲扞⑹ is part of Marks province-wide tour of all 25 publically funded post-secondary institutions.
