              Biography
Dr. Green is a forest ecologist with interests in marginal environments and forest responses to climate change. He is also an active and founding member of the ÂÜÀòÉäÇø Farmers' Market.
Research and expertise
Dr. Green's research activities have focused on sub-Arctic and Arctic environments. Community-based sustainability is an emerging interest, with new projects looking at local food production and forest ecosystem vulnerabilities in Yukon communities. His research training focused on plant and systems ecology, with a particular interest in forest responses to environmental change. Currently, he has several sustainability interests including sustainable forest management, local food systems and interconnections between science and society.
