          Biography
Our lab loves insects (and other arthropods)! And we particularly love local insects, although we really aren’t picky.
Our current projects include:
- Spruce beetle genomics
- Spruce tree defenses against insects
- Aquatic insect biodiversity
- Pollination ecology (orchids, wetlands, post-forest fire, and agroecosystems)
- Agroecosystem pest and natural enemy community ecology
- Urban arthropod biodiversity
- Other insect and chemical ecological research
Research and expertise
Arthropod ecology and biodiversity, forest, agricultural, and aquatic entomology, chemical ecology of insects and plants, insect genomics.
