Banchamlak Bemerw Kassaun is a PhD graduate in Environmental Biotechnology from Lakehead University, specializing in biopolymer synthesis, lignin modification, and the sustainable transformation of natural materials into advanced composites for applications like coatings and 3D printing. With a master’s in Leather Product Design and Engineering from Bahir Dar University, she has driven eco-innovation across Ethiopia, China, and Canada, blending green chemistry with practical design.
