ÂÜÀòÉäÇø To Host An Annual Report To The Community kick-off For New Fundraising Program

With continued growth in student numbers, ongoing development of new degree programs, and the construction of new facilities, ÂÜÀòÉäÇø is clearly growing and expanding its core operations. On Tuesday, November 20th, the University will be hosting a public display and presentation to provide information about ÂÜÀòÉäÇø activities and future developments.

Being called an Annual Report to the Community, the presentation will feature ÂÜÀòÉäÇø President Charles Jago, student Christina Neufeld, and Founder Tom Steadman. There will be displays about the Northern Medical Program, campus expansion, athletics, the Northern BC Archives, alumni successes, the , co-op education, research, etc. Everyone is welcome.

The event will coincide with a new public fundraising campaign that is involving visits to northern BC communities and a mail-out to every home in northern BC. This year, the fundraising priorities are scholarships and bursaries, the Library, athletics, and the Northern Medical Program. The University is aiming to raise $100,000 during this year's public campaign.
