In his video (which can be viewed on Lukas' blog ), Bosch talks about sustainability, the importance of immersing oneself in the natural environment, and his passion for arts and culture.

One of the things Im really excited about in going to the Prince George area next year is the access that Prince George and 蹤獲扞⑹ have to nature, says Bosch. I cannot wait to experience this wild beauty for myself.

The environmentally conscious student fell in love with the campus and the community during his first visit to 蹤獲扞⑹ last September. He points to the vibrant arts community and Prince Georges friendly people as more reasons to attend 蹤獲扞⑹.

Bosch will write a blog, produce videos, take photos, and engage with the community through various social media platforms, all with an eye towards showcasing the 蹤獲扞⑹ experience by drawing on the activities of a student living it day-to-day.

Lukas is an excellent example of the passion our students bring to 蹤獲扞⑹, and I look forward to meeting him when he starts classes in the fall. His drive and energy will be an exciting addition to campus life, said 蹤獲扞⑹ Dean of Student Success and Enrolment Management, Bill Owen. On behalf of 蹤獲扞⑹, I thank all the students who submitted their videos for sharing their passion with us.

The Northern Exposure Award includes:

  • tuition for the 2013-14 academic year
  • accommodation in the student residence
  • a $2,000 credit with the 蹤獲扞⑹ Bookstore and Food Services

There were two other award winners as part of the promotion: Current 蹤獲扞⑹ student Maggie Hall won a total of $1,500 in tuition credits, with Tim Beales winning $200.
