Over the last twenty years, starting with matriarch Elaine Hauck, five members of the Hauck family have received degrees through ��, all of whom have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of others.

The sense of belonging Sean Robinson found while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at �� ignited his curiosity, critical thinking skills and dedication to inclusion, empowering him to become a thoughtful leader and advocate for change. Robinson will reflect on the guidance of family, the transformative power of education and the importance of engaging with diverse worldviews in his valedictory address during Ceremony 1 of ��’s 2025 Convocation.

Megan Yaskow: Exploring Prince George’s Identity Through Award-Winning Historical Research

�� History major Megan Yaskow received the W. Kaye Lamb Award earlier this year for Best Student Work for her research on the 1958 British Columbian centennial’s role in shaping Prince George’s identity. Through hands-on experiences at the Northern BC Archives and local museums, Megan developed a deep interest in public history and heritage studies, which continues to inspire her academic journey.

Two �� researchers received funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council's Insight Grant and Insight Development Grant programs.
