The Faculty of Science and Engineering is a group of faculty, staff, and students who share a common passion for the pursuit of knowledge of the natural world and the discovery of applications of that knowledge to solve the wicked problems that society faces. The Faculty represents the dependence of engineering on the disciplines of science and the dependence of the disciplines of science on each other and engineering.
We acknowledge that the land on which 蹤獲扞⑹s Prince George campus is located is within the traditional territory of the Lheidli Tenneh. We offer programs to many First Nations and other Indigenous communities in our region. We acknowledge the many negative effects of colonialism on the people that have cared for this land for generations.
One of our goals in the Faculty of Science and Engineering is to bring science and engineering to a more diverse population including women, visible minorities and local Indigenous communities in our region. As part of Canadas Green University, our research and courses encompass many aspects of sustainability, environmental restoration, natural products and technologies to protect the environment.

Engineering students capture second place at national competition

Eleven 蹤獲扞⑹ researchers received funding through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada's Discovery Grant Program.
Student-designed portal connects health researchers
HRI Connect, a new 蹤獲扞⑹ Health Research Institute databank developed by 蹤獲扞⑹ Computer Science students, will enable northern health researchers to more easily find and connect with others who have similar interests, helping to further health innovation in the region. The portal is also the first major production deployment in the cloud for the University.

Dual credit TekX program introduces high school students to post-secondary education
The TekX program will provide Grade 11 students with the opportunity to explore career pathways in the rapidly growing technology sector and earn post-secondary credits while still in high school.
