Garry Gottfriedson, a Secwépemc knowledge holder and cultural leader committed to lending his knowledge in both land-based teaching and creative writing, is set to receive an honorary degree on May 26.

It was a season for learning new skills and sharing stories through art, as students gathered with Cree/Dakelh artist Clayton Gauthier for wood carving sessions through the winter months.

The Northern BC Climate Action Network is holding its first in-person meeting at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø on April 4. The network, which launched in 2022, aims to identify and celebrate opportunities for climate action that work for northern B.C., encourage regional innovation and identify funding opportunities.  

At the 2023 Robert W. Tait Lecture, Senior Lab Instructor Dr. Umesh Parshotam will speak about his teaching journey and how that influences his current pedagogical philosophy.

ÂÜÀòÉäÇø's Koh-Learning team reflected on their unique collaborative learning program centred around the waterways in the Nechako watershed during a Research Week special presentation.

ÂÜÀòÉäÇø is one of seven new university members of TRIUMF, Canada's particle accelerator centre. ÂÜÀòÉäÇø researchers have been working on projects at the facility since 1993. Currently, ÂÜÀòÉäÇø is involved in a project that aims to build the world’s most advanced ultra-cold-neutron facility to carry out the world’s most precise measurement of the neutron electric dipole moment.
