Students, faculty, family and friends gathered at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø’s South-Central campus to celebrate the Class of 2025. The Graduation celebration highlighted the strong connections and shared accomplishments built throughout their academic journeys.

Family, friends, faculty and community members filled the R.E.M. Lee Theatre in Terrace on June 3 to celebrate the achievements of University of Northern British Columbia graduates from the Northwest campus set to become nurses and teachers in the region and beyond.

A celebration of achievement and identity, the Wilp Wilx̱o’oskwhl Nisg̱a'a Institute's annual Convocation highlighted the transformative power of education in the Nass Valley.

Over the last twenty years, starting with matriarch Elaine Hauck, five members of the Hauck family have received degrees through ÂÜÀòÉäÇø, all of whom have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of others.

The sense of belonging Sean Robinson found while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø ignited his curiosity, critical thinking skills and dedication to inclusion, empowering him to become a thoughtful leader and advocate for change. Robinson will reflect on the guidance of family, the transformative power of education and the importance of engaging with diverse worldviews in his valedictory address during Ceremony 1 of ÂÜÀòÉäÇø’s 2025 Convocation.

Students, faculty and staff will come together to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication and resilience of the Class of 2025 at University events taking place across northern B.C. from May 30 to June 11.

The retiring faculty members were celebrated at a special event acknowledging their outstanding contributions as educators, researchers and experts in their fields of study.

Over the past several years, renovations and equipment upgrades were undertaken at the University's School of Nursing sites in Prince George and Fort St. John through funding from the provincial government. The facility updates were completed between 2022 and 2024.
