Dr. Wendy Rodgers is ÂÜÀòÉäÇø's new Vice President Academic and Provost. In her new role, Dr. Rodgers will lead the comprehensive strategic planning, development, and implementation of academic priorities at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø.

ÂÜÀòÉäÇø student Lydia Kinasewich won the W. Kaye Lamb scholarship for her research paper about the history of Harrison Hot Springs. Awarded by the British Columbia Historial Federation, the competition is open to all students writing about topics related to B.C.'s history.

Dr. Sean Maurice, a senior lab instructor with the NMP, is one of only ten educators in Canada to receive a 2022 3M National Teaching Fellowship.

The Class of 2022 at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø's South-Central campus all come from the School of Nursing and many of them will be working in Quesnel and the Cariboo region.

Funding the Hub will help support advancement of innovative environmental and clean technologies in northern B.C.

As part of her new role with the CIHR IIPH, which will be housed at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø, Professor Dr. Margo Greenwood will help to advance Indigenous self-determination in health research.

Throughout their studies, ÂÜÀòÉäÇø nursing students have the unique opportunity to experience many different rural and urban health care settings. For Class of 2022 graduate Leanne Greeff, one of those experiences led her to a job in Kitimat.

ÂÜÀòÉäÇø will grant nearly 750 credentials on May 27 as in-person convocation returns to our campuses with modified ceremonies.

Mackenzie Bouchard Hooker wants to be a catalyst for positive change in the education system and she's using the knowledge she gained at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø to make a difference in the lives of her students. The three-time ÂÜÀòÉäÇø graduate is the Valedictorian at Ceremony 1 at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø's 2022 Convocation.
