Dakelh Elder and 蹤獲扞⑹ founding member to receive honorary degree

En Cha Hun獺 蹤獲扞⑹s motto from the Dakelh Nakazdli dialect, meaning respecting all forms of life, was suggested by students in the Universitys first Carrier language course. Fittingly, this years honorary degree recipient was part of that class and has spent her life embodying the spirit of the motto through her deep respect for others, openness to diverse perspectives and passion for sharing knowledge.

Northern voices lead energy conversations

蹤獲扞⑹ Faculty of Environment Assistant Professor Dr. Sinead Earley and colleagues at the University of Victoria are leading transformative clean energy research through the Northern Regional Energy Dialogues (NRED). The five-year project expands on Earley's previous work to amplify northern voices and aims to strengthen community resilience, support community energy systems and enhance long-term economic stability throughout the region.
